Things That Make Life Worth Living: Falling in love. Hearing your favorite song on the radio. Lying in bed listening to the rain outside. Milkshakes. Bubble baths. Giggling. Long conversations late at night. The beach. Running through sprinklers. Laughing at an inside joke. Laughing at yourself. Laughing so hard your stomach hurts. Laughing for absolutely no reason at all. Just plain laughing. Having someone tell you that you're beautiful. Friends. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you. Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep. First kisses. Making new friends or spending time with old ones. Playing with a new puppy. Sweet dreams. Hot chocolate. Road trips with friends. Making chocolate chip cookies. Holding hands with someone you care about. Watching the sunrise. Watching a sunset. Getting out of bed in the morning after sleeping in and looking out the window to see it’s sunny, birds are chirping, and kids are playing. Knowing that somebody misses you.

You won't become successful by complaining that life is unfair. Certainly there are many injustices in the world, yet you won't get anywhere by using those injustices as excuses.
Your best response is to work over, under, around and through them. Accept the fact that life is unfair, and choose to experience outstanding success anyway. It is admirable to fight against injustice. But fighting against injustice may very well make that injustice even stronger. A better way to end injustice is to make it irrelevant. When you create ways for yourself and others to succeed in spite of unfair circumstances, then you render those circumstances powerless. The world is filled with inequity and unfairness. And yet, there are always plenty of workable and creative ways to rise above those negative circumstances. When something in life is unfair, choose to succeed anyway. And make that unfairness so small and insignificant it won't even matter. -- Ralph Marston

This quote reminds me of a woman a work with. She is inspirational, fun, respectful, a wonderful listener, and is always willing to help. She has been there for me through more than I think she knows and I am so very grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful friend. I hope one day to have some of these qualities that she does. To want to help people become better, to listen and give such wonderful advice, to be such a hard worker that everyone respects, and to be as happy as she is.

I thank god for all of the wonderful people who have been brought into my life in the last year. I am so very happy and blessed.

GOODNIGHT!

love love love... more to come!

there are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little brighter and just live a little better.

I'm not letting anyone else live my life for me and tell me what's best for me. I know what I need. I'm listening to my own heart from now on. I'm not letting my life pass me by.

There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.

You can’t live your life for other people. You’ve got to do what’s right for you, even if it hurts some people you love.

Sometimes you have to be apart from people you love, but that doesn't mean you love them less.. sometimes it means you love them more.
You can try your hardest, you can do everything, but sometimes people just aren't worth trying over anymore, they aren't worth worrying about. It's important to know when to let go of someone who only brings you down.

Sometimes you’ve got to change what’s happening. You can’t wait for people to do It for you because they won’t. People are too preoccupied with what’s going on with them to notice what’s been happening to you. You can’t sit there and expect things to change if you’re not willing to get up and change them.

Beauty has to do with who you are as a person.

I’ve learned a lot, I’ve learned that everything does happen for a reason. I’ve learned that everyone I’ve met has helped me to grow and learn in some way, Whether they’ve been there as support or to make my life a living hell, it’s still helped me lerarn. I’ve learned to accept things and not question things too much. I’ve learned not to take things too seriously because it just stresses you out too much, I’ve learned to suck it up, keep my head up[ and continue on with life like it didn’t bother me at all. I’ve learned that you have to make mistakes in order to learn from them. I’ve learned that you can’t depend on anyone else so in the end all you really have is yourself. And most importantly I know that whatever doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger.

Life doesn’t give you the people you want. It gives you the people you need. To help you. To hurt you. To love you. To leave you. And to make you into the person you were meant to be.

You’re not broken, you’re just tired and it shows.
People have the right to think and say whatever they want to. But you have the right not to take it to heart, and not to react.

I’ve learned this past year. I’ve changed, I’ve grown. Maybe things do happen for a reason, maybe they don’t. But no matter what, they still happen. And if I get hurt, or if something bad happens, then it happens. There’s nothing I can do to change that. I’ve learned to go with my gut, that it’s okay to make mistakes because the ones that matter won’t care. I’ve learned that love really is as great as they say it is. I’ve learned that your friends can save you from your worst enemy: yourself. And most importantly, I’ve learned that today is all we have.
